St. Timothy's is a friendly, vibrant, growing church with something for everyone. Above all, we are a family of diverse people from all religious backgrounds, races, age groups, and walks of life. Our ministry at St. Timothy's is to build up the Body of Christ and to share the Good News of God's love with all people.

St. Tims in the Spring Time

St. Timothy's has been in Herndon, VA for over 130 years, providing service and leadership in the Herndon/Reston community. We moved to the current location from our original white frame church at the corner of Grace and Elden Streets. Henry Hall was dedicated in 1968, and the sanctuary, with its innovative sails and lighting, historic pipe organ, and corner altar was dedicated in 1982. The church bell out front, dated 1883, is from our first home and is a reminder of our rich past.
